Facebook launches a new service that will share your location to all you friends.

The phone always knows where you are. And now if you want your Facebook friends always know where you are. Facebook is introducing a mobile element called is located near Friends who thrives on the constant flow of location information so that friends can track each other in real time.

The idea is to make it easier for people to meet in real life , so you can have conversations in person instead of comment threads , A live meet- up is also an excellent opportunity to take a selfie with your friend and upload to Facebook Instagram property.

In a refreshing change , the new Friends feature is notturned near default.
Friends can not see where you are unless you decide to live monitoring is something you want in your life and visit settings to turn it on Facebook . Ask a new opt-in feature of potentially invasive suggests Facebook may have learned from some of his past mistakes and privacy issues .

You can choose to share their general location with all your Facebook friends , close friends or a custom list of people feel more comfortable. Further minimizing potential harassment factor , its location is only shared with others who are also using the property and have decided to share their location with you .

When activated, is close friends lists approved Facebook friends who also use the function and shows its approximate location. A push icon in the map can show you how many of your friends are nearby. Check the application to display a list of friends, the neighborhood or the city where they are, how many kilo meters far from your present location, and a timestamp of when they were there.

There is an option to share your exact location with specific friends , which can be useful for coordinating large groups at concerts or find someone in a crowded area . Your friends will see a small picture of his face on a map for a specified period of time.
Close friends will be available for iOS and Android Facebook , but only work for selected locations in the beginning.

Facebook , Instagram and many other applications already include features that allow people to "check -in " to places, but those characteristics are different because of location to decide whether and when to share each specific location. You can check into a downtown Starbucks, but never at home or elsewhere would rather keep private. Close friends gather continuously details about where you are in the background instead of waiting for a manual check-in .

This is not the first time an application has been used location information to physically connect friends. Similar applications such as Highlight , which got a burst of attention in 2012, mapped the locations of the quirky locals . Facebook also purchased a new company in 2012 called Glancee also connects strangers. This technology was developed in this new role , more private.

If you turn offer close friends , Facebook is beginning to collect data on its exact location and maintains detailed information on where you've been in the past, not just places where you used the app to check in also gathers location information even when the Facebook application closes.

But you can disable this location history in Facebook app settings . You can delete individual locations of a story, or erase everything and start from scratch .
